Hotel Description
Recently newly renovated. Roban House is a small friendly guest house with accommodation within easy walking distance of the centre of Bath. OUR PREMISES ARE STRICTLY NON SMOKING AND SMOKERS ARE NOT WELCOME. The hotel has luxury rooms most en-suite with free wireless broadband TV DVD hairdryer tea and coffee-making facilities. On-street parking is available near the house. A maximum of 10 minutes walk from the centre of Bath and from the bus and train stations we offer the most convenient solution for your stay. Healthy breakfast at an additional £9.50 per person is served in the room.PLEASE NOTE. We now offer in house holistictreatments such as aromatherapyswedish massage reflexology at £35 per 1 hr session and non surgical facelift massage at £20 per 30 min session . These normally need to be booked in advance. Please telephone for details.We provide free towels for the Spa for the guests staying a minimum of two nights (saving of £3 per person) or organise earlylate check-in or late check out for you (subject to £10 per hour or any part thereof). We'll contact you after your booking to confirm details about accommodation check-in parkingor any other special requirements. Our free wireless broadband internet service means you can catch up on your emailing or surfing - you need to bring your own wireless-equipped laptop or PDA. A small laptop computer is available at nominal charge for limited time. Landline telephone is available - most common destinations worldwide are available at 40 pence per minute.The earliest check-in is at 3 pm and the latest at 9 pm (5 pm and 9 pm on Sundays) and the latest check out 10 am except by prior arrangement (additional charges may apply). Roban House does not have a permanently manned reception. We will contact you to arrange the suitable check-in time. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted. Children over the age of 12 are permitted if accompanied by a responsible adult.We do not permit rooms to be shared by more than the number of people booked.Please note - we offer a completely smoke free environment - no smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Anyone found smoking at the property will be asked to leave and to pay for re-decorating of the room.Guests are requested not to enter the property in dirty dusty or soiled industrial clothing. We reserve the right to request you to change before entering. When we receive your booking we will attempt to obtain pre-authorisation for the full cost of the stay against the credit card provided and on arrival you may pay by cash if you prefer or by cheque or bank transfer in advance provided that payment clears before the start of your stay. If you provide us with a debit card details your card will be charged with the cost of the stay. Full payment is due on arrival or earlier as explained above and the full cost of the stay is payable in the event of a no-show. All guests are required to produce photo id as a condition of stay.

Directions to Roban House
By CarFrom the East or Northleave the M4 motorway at Junction 18; take the A46 South to Bath; follow signs initially towards the City Centre then A4 towards Bristol; slow down or you will miss it after passing through a number of traffic lights and roundabouts you will see a Renault Dealer on the right. Turn left opposite the Skoda Dealership (alongside the Green Park Tavern) into Westmoreland Road. This becomes Lower Oldfield Park when it passes under the railway bridge. Roban House (number 26) is 100m up the road on the right hand side.From the South-EastTake the A36 from Southampton Salisbury and Warminster into Bath. On joining the A4 in Bath turn left towards Bristol; after passing through a number of traffic lights ( slow down or you will miss it) and roundabouts you will see a Skoda Dealer on the right. Turn left opposite the Skoda Dealership (alongside the Green Park Tavern) into Westmoreland Road. This becomes Lower Oldfield Park when it passes under the railway bridge. Roban House (number 26) is 100m up the road on the right hand side. From the South WestLeave the M5 Motorway at Junction 22; follow signs towards Bristol Airport until you reach the village of Churchill; turn right onto the A368 towards Bath; join the A39 near Marksbury; Join the A4 and follow in to Bath through several traffic lights;at Sainsbury's petrol station all traffic is forced to turn left; stay in the centre lane and follow signs A36 towards Trowbridge through two quick traffic lights; slow down as otherwise you will miss it after the second of these (left turn) take the second on the right )opposite the Skoda Dealership (on the left) and alongside the Green Park Tavern. This is Westmoreland Road but it becomes Lower Oldfield Park after about 50 metres as it passes under a railway bridge. Roban House (number 26) is 100 yds up on the right hand side.By Public TransportBath Spa Railway Station and Bath Coach station are a few minutes by taxi.Bristol Airport is 20 miles away. A coach service operates to Bristol Temple Meads station and from there Bath Spa Railway station is only a few minutes by train.
